LSoft Technologies offers a number of convenient ways for new and existing customers to always have up to date software and (worth $149.99), there is no need for you to purchase the whole license for $149.99. What you can do instead is pay the price difference between those two applications which in this case is $70,04 and you got yourself a fully functioning license of Active@ Data Studio. Pretty neat, ha!

Program for new customers

After purchasing software, as a new customer you receive a one year of free updates for your software from the time of purchase. After the elapse of that one year to receive updates for the next year you will need purchase Updates from your account at lsoft.net for just $10. A year of updates always costs $10 for any software (apart from KillDisk Industrial products) whether you bought one for $30 or $150 the price is always the same. Also, if have bought the software once, did not regularly update and years down the line you want to update it, the updates will cost you again just $10 and there is no need to buy software again. Once you buy our software you have it forever! We value other people’s time and money and believe that forcing customers to buy new software over and over again at the base price is unjustifiable.

Program for existing customers

If you are an existing customer and you want to purchase new software or upgrade your existing one you are advised to check your customer account at lsoft.net and check our offer in your account. Depending on your needs you will have two choices in regards to acquiring new software either by upgrading the existing one or by getting a discount for the new one.

Upgrading existing software

Let’s say you already have Active@ Boot Disk (for which you have paid $79.95) and you want to upgrade to Active@ Data Studio (worth $149.99), there is no need for you to purchase the whole license for $149.99. What you can do instead is pay the price difference between those two applications which in this case is $70,04 and you got yourself a fully functioning license od Active@ Data Studio. Pretty neat, ha!

Getting a discount

If you have already purchased one application and you want to buy another, you are eligible for a discount. How big of a discount, you might ask? Well it all depends on the total sum of money you have spent in LSoft’s Store so this table below should give you an idea of how big of discount you can get. You can find this table in your LSoft account under Discount Offers.

Bellow the table you will find the “Generate Discount Token” button, which will generate your discount upon activation. The discount code can be used freely and only once and cannot be applied to Site and Enterprise licenses.

Expanding slots in Active@ KillDisk

For businesses and technicians who are in need of additional slots to perform data erasure on multiple drives simultaneously we also prove an upgrade program where the price of one slot is set to the price of individual license. In other words, if you own a copy of Active@ KillDisk Professional ($39.95), and you want to expand the number of supported drives for parallel erasure to 5 you will need to purchase additional 4 licenses in order to upgrade to 5 slots. Meaning, the upgrade should cost you 4 x $39.95 = $159.80
